Moblogging 101 by the most excellent Mark Frauenfelder;
With a combination of charisma, chutzpah, editorial acumen, and perseverance, the best moblog stars will be as famous as television and movie celebrities, and will be courted by the studios and networks.
 If I had a few spare months this summer, I would sit down and read every single book on this Edge list. [Note. Waitaminute, I actuall have a few spare months. Uhm, well, the weather is too nice to sit and read all those books all summer long]
[Update. Jep, det er Thorborg og Henrik Sørensen der forlader Jubii. Mere hos Computerworld, JP og Berlingeren der bl.a skriver;
 How LEGO bricks are made shown in funky isometric pixel-glory.
 Just realised it's been at least 3 years since I checked in at the website of Silicon Graphics. The company used to be the darling of the industry, but I was only reminded of good old SGI because of this cynical comment in todays Ditherati quote;
DIVIDE BY ZERO
"Our intent is to bring expenses in line with revenues."
SGI CEO Bob Bishop, on trying to get the doomed computer maker's costs to shrink as fast as its sales
World market for five computers, in the future computer may weigh less than 1.5 tons, no one will want a computer in their home.
 News flash : The projection keyboard actually works.
 One more time for the latecomers, still such a happy happy pixellated experience; Move you feet by Junior Senior.
 SARS did not come from space, it came from civet cats. [In danish : desmerdyr]
 The horror of being a hi-profile sci-fi writer; Held hostage by Neuromancer fans after giving a kick-ass speech; A talk given at the Directors Guild of America's Digital Day [Scroll down the page a bit].
 Can it really be illegal too download music if it's only for ironic purposes? Let's say (just for arguments sake) I download "Blame it on the rain" by Milli Vanilli and "I ran" by A flock of seagulls. Surely that must be OK or what? In related news, the most downloaded software in the history of the Internet is this.
 The Economist counteracted on Naomi Kleins No Logo book/movement with the Pro Logo cover story. Not that interesting to read, but this quote is good;
"Consumers are like roaches," say Jonathan Bond and Richard Kirshenbaum in their book "Under the Radar" Talking to Today's Cynical Consumer". "We spray them with marketing, and for a time it works. Then, inevitably, they develop an immunity, a resistance."
Voice over Wi-Fi: Next nightmare for the Telcos?
Alle klager over deres dårlige hukommelse, men ingen over deres ringe forstand.

 The Guardian has a sober (but not completely convincing) roundup of the current Google/Weblog controversy.
 Check out the not-so-serious Internet Timeline. Rather funny, there's actually quite a few valid points along the way...
 Now you can drag an annoying interactive talking Mickey with you when visiting Disneyland; Your pal Mickey;
The huggable plush toy offers reminders about parades and show times, shares stories and trivia, recommends attractions, plays games and tells guests where to locate Disney characters.
 Henrik Dahl om Danmarks beskedne potentiale som turistland;
 Please pay close attention: TheMemoryhole.org. You are being lied to by the media 24/7/365.
 Return of the dropshadow. Bigtime. Forlaget Per Kofod er kommet på Nettet. Velkommen til.
Subviral marketing? That's like sooo 20 minutes ago. The next big thing will be bloggers engineering fake ads for big companies, then claiming that the corps did it themselves, and afterwards the companies will pay the bloggers to say they did it anyway and then the bloggers will deny everything and then... [repeat ad nauseum].
  The icons say it all.
 Back from Bergen being busy busy. Gotta revise text for semi-secret Home Automation project, write this weeks issue of Jubii Sjove Links, collect and send notes to the nice students in Bergen, install OS X on my laptop and about 20 little things.
 Slick, Flash-based, future-hi-fi-interface eyecandy from HighCTR. And see some really well-compressed video online; Læreplan+. Check it out in full-screen mode, it's good [Windows only].
 Hr.
 Dot-Com tiden i den danske bladbranche varede kun i 40 dage (plus lidt opvarmning) men åbenbart længe nok at få følelserne godt i kog.
 Arright, just this one little link and I shall ignore the Matrix franchise for the rest of my life. There is no way I'm going to sit through a two-hour trailer for a computergame.
 Quick recap of the current Google situation from The New York Times [Registration required]
The Web is a tool that enables people who have a life to benefit from the efforts of those who don't.
...Ouch, that hurt.
 Nice little Wired piece on blogging by the always-right-on-target Steven Johnson;
We've lived so long under the notion of the Web as a space of connected documents, it seems almost unthinkable that it could be organized any other way. But it could just as easily be assembled around a different axis: not pages but minds.
[Note to self. Should not link to Wired so often, it's so Tired...]
 If you are interested in sound design for movies at all, check out Filmsound. Lots of well-written general-interest articles on all aspects of sound in movies.

Working along at the Multimedia Workshop
 The workshop is up and running, I think it's going pretty well so far. The students are from Costa Rica, Egypt, China and Norway.
 This week, I'll be in Bergen, Norway. I'm running a Multimedia workshop at the University of Bergen.
 Good article on Ultra Hi-Tech living in Malmö; "It takes tech to Tango".
 And the nominees for least updated weblog are;
Nanna
Jesper
Daniel
...And the winner is; Tims Tech Blog!!! Haha
 Great domain names from both sides of the US political spectrum: isdickcheneydeadyet.com and revoketheoscar.com.
 How to make money from weblogs? It's very simple; Make a conference about it and charge clueless business people 895$ to come. Would probably take years to make that kind of money directly from a blog...
Og i samme åndedrag "Won't the real Saddam please stand up".
 The new googlesque Yahoo Search is actually pretty good. Now also with Image search.
 For reasons unkown, the Blogger chose to delete my layout templates the other day. A bit of a thriller, but I managed to reconstruct them without too much hassle. But still it gives me the feeling of relying too much on semi-flaky online software.
Futurism doesn't mean predicting an awesome wonder; rather it means recognizing and describing a small apparent oddity destined to become a great commonplace.
Bruce Sterling in "Tomorrow Now"
 New tools for fighting spam, both seem to have danish roots; Spamdoom and Spamfighter. If mobile spam [Wired article] takes off, then we could be in major trouble. It's funny how we always seem to ignore the negative sides of tech until they jump up and bite us in a big way. [Update] A while back I claimed that Apple Mail caught 99% of all spam. Make that 70% instead...
